Gary P. Stremick

FARGO, N.D. -- Gary P. Stremick, 59, Fargo, N.D., died Sunday, June 9, 2002, in MeritCare Hospital in Fargo.

He was born Oct. 22, 1942, in Langdon, N.D. He graduated from St. Alphonse High School in Langdon. He served in the Army in Vietnam. He moved to Fargo, N.D. In 1978, he began working for the North Dakota Department of Transportation where he worked for 24 years. He married Toni Pavlicek on May 5, 1984, in Fargo.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Scott Stremick, Omaha, Neb., and Mike Pavlicek, Wolverton; three daughters, Sue Skiple, Redwood Falls, Kathy Barnes, Bozeman, Mont., and Teri Nowacki, Apple Valley, Calif.; eight grandchildren; two brothers, Kenneth Stremick, Langdon, N.D., and Mark Stremick, Fargo, N.D.; and two sisters, Donna Coyle, Hillman, and Candace Bimler, Langdon, N.D.

His parents, Ralph and Lorraine Stremick, died earlier.

Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Sts. Anne and Joachim Catholic Church. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery in Fargo, N.D. Memorials are preferred to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

Friends may call from 5-7 p.m. today with a prayer service at 7 p.m. in Boulger Funeral Home in Fargo, N.D., and an hour before services Wednesday at the church.
