Clyde W. Fregin

RANDALL --Clyde W. Fregin, 64, Randall, died Thursday, June 8, 2000, at St. Gabriel's Hospital in Little Falls.

He was born Aug. 12, 1935, in Little Falls to Emil and Bertha (Peter) Fregin. He grew up in the Randall area where he attended elementary school. He attended Little Falls High School, graduating in 1953. He married Nancy Mueller on May 14, 1955, at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Randall. They lived in Randall. He worked in maintenance at Camp Ripley from October 1953 until his retirement in September 1990. He was a member of the Randall Fire Department for 32 years and of St. Peter Lutheran Church in Randall.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Kathy Bentler, Baxter; three sons, Douglas, Trempealeau, Wis., Roger, Little Falls, and Steven, Superior, Wis.; a sister, Audrey Paton, Chicago; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

His parents died earlier.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Shelley Funeral Chapel in Little Falls with the Rev. Kathryn Ingbritsen officiating. Burial will be in the Randall City Cemetery.

Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. today and from 8-10:30 a.m. Monday at Shelley Funeral Chapel in Little Falls.
