The May 26 Dispatch Interactive poll asked "What TV show had the best 2004-05 season?" Not surprisingly in this era when fewer and fewer shows are hits, the votes were all over the board. Lots of people love TV, but it's hard to find two who can agree on what the best show is.

AITKIN -- Motorists using U.S. 169 and Highway 210 through the city of Aitkin will be detoured for about one week beginning June 13, as work continues on a joint city, county, state and federal improvement project, the Minnesota Department of Transportation reported.

Although the frenzy over Mark Felt's admission is understandable, it shouldn't distract us from the truly significant questions about Watergate. How, for example, did the White House turn into a hothouse of criminality? To what extent did the Watergate mentality pervade other areas of Nixon's presidency, such as policymaking?
