There will be a second Sunday picnic on Sunday under the pines at the Pine River City Park. Bring a picnic dish to share and your own dishes, utensils and beverages. From Hwy. 371, turn at the light in Pine River and follow signs to Hwy. 84 across the dam and to the left. The park will be on your right almost immediately.

Guest speakers at Lighthouse Church

The Lighthouse Community Church in Deerwood will host the Glenn Clark family at the 10:30 a.m. Sunday service. Glen and Linda Clark, with their seven children, will be ministering with both music and preaching. The Clarks are visiting in this area from Florida. A potluck meal will follow the morning service. The church is located at the intersection of Hwys. 6 and 210 in Deerwood.

"A New Sound"

Songwriter and recording artist Jean Wik will share her voice and be the guest speaker from 12:30-2 p.m. Thursday at Bonanza for the Brainerd Christian Women's Club. Cost: $8 all inclusive. Evangelist/singer at Community Alliance Church

Evangelist and singer David Koblish will be ministering in song at 10:15 a.m. June 17 at Community Alliance Church in Garrison. He has established Under His Wings, an evangelistic ministry and also takes part in the Billy Graham overseas ministries. A freewill offering will be taken to support his ministry.
