LITTLE FALLS -- The Great River Arts Association, with support from the Little Falls Chamber of Commerce and Bookin' It Bookstore, will present an A Cappella Fest during Sunday's Concert in the Park at 4 p.m.
The Fest will feature four area men's a cappella groups.
The Guys will be the first to perform as they come together to sing their old favorites, including "Poison Ivy and Good Old A Cappella." Ryan Olson, Dave Meyer, Matt Nelson and Shane Cole got together to form "The Guys" in the fall of 1997.
Following them will be Lasting Impression, a group of four area men: Ron Grove, Jim Fox, Jayme Johnson and Woody Wiger.
The Little Falls Lindyland Chordsmen will then take the stage and share their four-part harmony favorites. The Chordsmen are an area community men's barbershop chorus that meets every Thursday to rehearse.
The last group of the day will be The Appetizers, a group that's been together since February. Shane Cole, Jeff Bartz, Adam Kupka and Matt Nelson will sing tunes like "Kiss Him Goodbye," "Blue Moon" and "Trashing the Camp."
The public is invited to attend the weekly Concerts in the Park at Maple Island Park near downtown Little Falls free of charge. Bring a chair or blanket. In case of rain, this concert will be held at the Black and White Hamburger Shop. For more information, call GRAA at (320) 632-0960.
