Citizen State Bank of Brainerd has purchased the half block of property containing the former National Food Store building, Select Cleaners and the Joe Gustafson Office building. The bank president said that the site is to be the location of a new bank building.

With new 50 star flags lining the streets and with large banners welcoming the American Legion, Ironton closed the Legion convention and the Crosby-Ironton Anniversary Days celebration with over 100 units in its Sunday parade.

Proposed improvements in the Brainerd Park System were outlined before the Rotary and Lions Clubs this week by Dr. R.A. Beise, a member of the Park Board.

This number of The Dispatch is issued from a new, handsome and commodious quarters in the Sleeper Block, is printed on a brand new Reliance Babcock Cylinder Power Press, which is propelled by a new two-horse power Pierce gasoline engine. All the above new machinery, aggregating in cost over $1,500.
