Roger Anda, the owner of the Anda Construction Company in Moorhead announced today that plans and financing have now been completed to construct two 18-unit luxury apartment buildings in Brainerd. These buildings will be constructed across from the Brainerd Junior College.

Residents looked skyward at the rain-laden clouds hopefully but in vain as only .08 of an inch of rain fell in the city. Forestry officials said it was one of the driest springs on record.

Rain, rain, rain -- will it never stop? This was the feeling in the hearts of Brainerd residents as another downpour began. The total rainfall since April has risen to 11-32 inches far above the average.
