Nisswa-stamman Scandinavian Folk Music Festival 2002 opens 7 p.m. Friday with concert at Lutheran Church of the Cross, Nisswa, and 9 p.m. dance at Pequot Lakes Senior Center; Saturday's events include fiddlers parade at 9:45 a.m. in downtown Nisswa, performances by 130 musicians on two stages at Nisswa's Pioneer Village throughout the day, 5 p.m. smorgasbord at Nisswa Community Center, and old-time dance at 7 p.m., Nisswa American Legion Club; tickets at the gate for each event.
