LITTLE FALLS -- Marion O. Beseman, 76, Little Falls, died Tuesday, June 4, 2002, at her home.
She was born April 11, 1926, on the family farm near Grey Eagle to Edward and Emelia (Fraedrich) Dehn. She was baptized and confirmed at St. John's Lutheran Church in Grey Eagle. She attended country school and helped on the family farm. She moved to Little Falls where she worked as a cook at Norby's Cafe. She later worked as a cashier at the National Tea Store and as a seamstress at Munsingwear. She married Harvey J. Beseman on June 20, 1948, at St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Swanville. They lived in Little Falls. She worked as a baker at St. Gabriel's Hospital in Little Falls until she retired. She was a longtime member of Zion Lutheran Church where she served for many years as secretary of AAL Branch 2003 and was a member of the Little Falls VFW Auxiliary.
Survivors include her husband; three sons, Mike Beseman, Little Falls, Steve Beseman, Little Falls, and James Beseman, Lakeville; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Roland Dehn, St. Louis Park, and Donald Dehn, Clearlake, Calif.
A sister, Beatrice Giese, and a brother, Raymond Dehn, died earlier.
Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Zion Lutheran Church in Little Falls with the Rev. Martin Langemo officiating. Burial will be in St. Peter's Cemetery in Swanville.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Shelley Funeral Chapel in Little Falls, with a Little Falls VFW Auxiliary prayer service at 6:30 p.m., and from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday at the church.
