Wadena woman dead in rollover

SEBEKA -- An 18-year-old Wadena woman is dead following a single-vehicle accident Sunday on 135th Avenue, two miles north of Sebeka.

Sara Ann Ludovissie was pronounced dead at Wadena County Medical Center, the Wadena County Sheriff's Department reported.

The accident happened about 7 p.m. Ludovissie was driving a 1995 Pontiac northbound on 135th Avenue when, trying to overtake another vehicle, she lost control on the gravel road and went into the ditch, where her vehicle overturned. Ludovissie was ejected from the vehicle.

A 17-year-old Wadena teenager was also in Ludovissie's vehicle, and was taken to Wadena County Medical Center for observation.

The Wadena County Sheriff's Department was assisted by the Sebeka Police Department, Sebeka First Responders and Tri County Ambulance.
