Judith A. Nelson
CLEARBROOK - Judith Ann (Krizek) Nelson, 68, a resident of the Good Samaritan Center in Clearbrook, Minn., died on Saturday, May 31, 2008, at the center.
Memorial services will be held on Thursday, June 5, 2008, at 1:30 p.m. in the Chapel of the Good Samaritan Center in Clearbrook with Pastor Verlyn Strenge officiating. Interment will be at the Bohemian Cemetery in Cadott, Wis., at a later date. The Cease Family Funeral Home in Bagley assisted the family with arrangements.
Judith was born Feb. 21, 1940, at Chippewa Falls, Wis., the daughter of John and Jeanette (Kral) Krizek. In 1942 she moved to Minneapolis where she graduated from Marshall High School in 1958. She was briefly married to Harry Earnest Nelson in 1959. In 1963 she moved with her parents and daughter to Nisswa, Minn., where they owned and operated Wilderness Point Resort. In 1973 she moved to Mission Road in Nisswa and to the Good Samaritan Center in Clearbrook in June of 2002.
She is survived by one daughter, Cynthia (Jeff) Dosh, Dilworth, Minn.; one brother, Jon (Gwen) Krizek, Elk River, Minn.; three grandchildren, Charles (Shawna) Dosh, of West Fargo, N.D., Kaleena (Devon) Erickson, of Dilworth, Minn., Jonathan Dosh, of Dilworth, Minn.; two great-grandsons, Jordan and Tyler Ulven, of West Fargo, N.D.; one niece, Shari (Kenny) Cowles, of Zimmerman, Minn.; one nephew, Kurt (Tina) Krizek, of Fischers, Ind.; and aunt and uncle, Rita and Paul Kral.
