I was wondering when the land to the north of Clearwater Road, behind Clearwater Road was sold. It sure would be nice to find out these things. You know, you build in a neighborhood where you hope the trees are going to stay behind you and nobody's going to build and then the land sells without nobody knowing it. I wish somebody would have told the people of Baxter along Clearwater Road and maybe we could have bought that and buffered our property.
Dedicated, hardworking kids
I have a lot of respect for the honor roll students and I know they work very hard. I have two teenagers that are always doing their homework and trying very hard and luckily they've passed some of their classes. So I don't think they just hand "A's" out, that's for sure. I just think there are a lot of dedicated and hardworking kids and that's a good thing.
Crow Wing, Morrison and Aitkin County residents: I think you all need to write letters in the papers or call these county commissioners or the county administrators and let them know how you feel. Try to get answers. The county administrators and county commissioners have no idea how a juvenile facility runs and I think that's where the problem is. The only thing the county administrators know how to do is book work and paperwork. They crunch numbers and that's all they worry about is dollar signs in the end.
