Two injured in one-vehicle rollover

FORT RIPLEY -- Two people were injured Thursday after a Ford van they were in rolled on Highway 371, two miles north of Fort Ripley, reported the State Patrol.

The driver, Flipe Martinez, 38, Richfield, and a passenger, Daniel Hernandez, address unknown, were taken to St. Joseph's Medical Center in Brainerd where they were treated for minor injuries. Hernandez was later released from the hospital and there was no condition report available from the hospital on Martinez.

The accident was reported at 6:41 a.m.

Little Falls man injured in motorcycle-bus accident

LITTLE FALLS -- A 19-year-old Little Falls man was seriously injured after the motorcycle he was driving collided with a Little Falls School District school bus Tuesday, reported the Little Falls Police Department.

Craig Nguyen, who was driving the motorcycle, was transported to St. Gabriel's Hospital in Little Falls and then taken to St. Cloud Hospital by ambulance. There was no condition report available from the hospital Friday.

The accident was reported at 3:10 p.m. and occurred on 11th Street Southeast and Highway 27 in Little Falls. The driver of the Strack's Bus Line school bus was Michael Drew, 42, Randall. Drew and the children on the bus were not hurt.

It was reported that the school bus was on 11th Street Southeast trying to make a left turn onto Highway 27 when the motorcycle hit the back of the bus.
