IRONTON -- Kathryn Ann Goedderz, 80, Ironton, died Sunday, June 3, 2001, at the Cuyuna Regional Medical Center in Crosby.
She was born March 16, 1921, in Gilbert. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Crosby. She was a nurses aide at Cedarbrook Manor for 18 years and later she was a home health aide.
She is survived by one son, Ron Goedderz, Brainerd; four step-sons, Phil Goedderz, Milwaukee, James Goedderz, Brainerd, Richard Goedderz, Moose Lake and Robert Goedderz, Bloomington; two daughters, Brenda Walker, Ironton and Cheryl Dammann, Oshkosh, Wis.; one step-daughter, Mary Lou Oster, Eureka, Calif.; one sister, Rose Rajacich, Keewatin; nine grandchildren, 14 step-grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. Her husband, Phillip Goedderz, a son, Roger Goedderz, a brother, John Valencich, two sisters, Ann Delich and Mary Lind, died earlier.
Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Crosby with Father Howard Eisel officiating. Burial will be in Lakewood Cemetery in Crosby. Friends may call on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. Friends may also call on Wednesday, one hour prior to services at the church.
