NISSWA -- A man may owe his life to the quick action of neighbors while staying at a cabin at Wilderness Point Resort Saturday.
The cabin fire occurred about 8:20 a.m. and may have started when a lamp was knocked over, the Nisswa Police Department reported. Residents in the neighboring cabin noticed smoke and one young woman entered the smoke-filled cabin and roused the man sleeping inside.
The small fire was out before police units arrived on scene. No one was reported injured.
