WALKER - Kayla Krause fired an 88 to crack the top 15 of the Section 8-2A final, but missed a trip to Class 2A state tournament by five strokes Tuesday at Longbow Golf Club.
The Wadena-Deer Creek senior shot nines of 40-48 to end her prep career.
The top team (Detroit Lakes) and the top five individuals not on that team advance to the final tournament. The fifth-place individual shot an 83.
