Lucy Fietek
LITTLE FALLS -- Lucy Fietek, 94, Little Falls, formerly of Flensburg, died Friday, May 30, 2003, at St. Otto's Care Center in Little Falls.
She was born Oct. 23, 1908, in Wilno to Boleswa and Anna (Parewski) Shiek. She married Paul Fietek on July 17, 1923. He died Sept. 28, 1986. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church in Flensburg and Rosary Sodality.
Survivors include a son, Edward Fietek, Sartell; five daughters, Gertrude Litchy, Swanville, Rosemary Fietek, Little Falls, Leona Pechan, Eagle Bend, Bernie Sobieck, Roseville, and Diane Boisjolie, Clearwater; 17 grandchildren; 46 great-grandchildren; 25 great-great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Rose Schlicting and Nellie Lacik.
Her husband; an infant daughter, Gladys Fietek; and 11 brothers and sisters, died earlier.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Flensburg with Father Raymond Donnay officiating. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Parish Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. today at Brenny Funeral Home, West Chapel, in Little Falls with rosary and parish prayers at 4:30 p.m. and from 9 a.m. until the time of services Tuesday at the church.
