The Central Lakes College Theatre Department will hold auditions for the fall 2000 production of The Geritol Frolics at 10 a.m. June 17 in the college's music room on the Brainerd campus.
"The Geritol Frolics" is the college's award-winning senior theatre program for performers over age 50. This fall's production is "New York, New York-A Broadway Musical Revue."
The production will be directed by Dennis Lamberson. Steve Anderson will be the musical director and Pat Rinde will be the choreographer.
Needed for this production is a diverse group of actors, singers and dancers. No previous performing experience is necessary. The only requirements are a positive attitude and performers should be at least 50 by Sept. 27, 2000.
Singers may audition in a group or prepare an up-tempo Broadway musical number. Dancers should wear comfortable clothing and be prepared to learn a short dance combination.
The show will play Sept. 27 through Oct. 7 for 10 performances with rehearsals starting in mid August for dancers and Aug. 22 for singers.
