Firefighters respond to motorcycle crash

The Brainerd Fire Department assisted at the scene of a motorcycle-vehicle crash Friday.

The crash was reported at 4:41 p.m. at South Sixth and Quince streets in Brainerd. Firefighters assisted by washing away spilled gasoline at the scene.

In other area calls, firefighters responded to a small grass fire reported at 5:19 p.m. Friday at 10th and Norwood streets. And in two cases, firefighters were first called for assistance that was later canceled - a vehicle crash at 10:30 p.m. Friday at Highway 371 and Glory Road in Baxter and an alarm at 5:30 a.m. on the 10400 block of 70th Street.
