LITTLE FALLS -- Phyllis Irene Tschudy, 88, Little Falls, died Wednesday, May 28, 2003, at home.
She was born July 18, 1914, in Minneapolis to Henry and Ida Anderson. She graduated from North High School. She married Andrew Tschudy on Nov. 20, 1935, in Minneapolis. They farmed in Renville for 33 years. They retired in Little Falls where they lived for 23 years. They wintered in Florida for three years and in McAllen, Texas, for 42 years where she was active in the church and ladies league. She was a member of First Lutheran Church in Little Falls, Dorcas Society at First Lutheran Church in Renville and past worthy Matron of the Eastern Star.
Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Marion Smith, Minneapolis, and Carol Tschudy, McAllen, Texas; a son, Gary Tschudy, Little Falls; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
A sister, Bernice Hemgren, and a brother, Myron Anderson, died earlier.
Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at First Lutheran Church in Little Falls with the Rev. David Steffenson and the Rev. Robin Nice officiating. Burial will be private. Memorials are preferred to the First Lutheran Church in Little Falls.
Friends may call from 10-11 a.m. Saturday at First Lutheran Church in Little Falls.
