PILLAGER -- Carl Gomoll, 80, Pillager, died Monday, May 28, 2001, at home.
He was born Dec. 1, 1920, in Minneapolis to Paul and Frances (Boether) Gomoll. He served in the Army during World War II and was a member of the American Legion. He was employed in security at Potlatch. He was a member of St. Andrew's Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy; two daughters, Doreen Webster and Maxine Musick, both of Portland, Ore.; nine grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
A son, Darius, and brothers and sisters died earlier.
Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at St. Andrew's Catholic Church in Brainerd with the Rev. Paul Fruth officiating. Burial with military honors will be provided by American Legion Post No. 255 in Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery in Camp Ripley.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Thursday, with parish prayers at 5 p.m., at Nelson-Doran Funeral Home in Brainerd.
