Jimmy Marvin Thompson, 64, Brainerd, died Monday, May 28, 2001, at Woodland Good Samaritan Village in Brainerd.
He was born Jan. 16, 1937, in Casselton, N.D., to Albert and Beatrice (Brieland) Thompson. He moved with his family to Brainerd at the age of 16. He attended school in Brainerd and later entered the Army. After his discharge, he returned to Brainerd and worked as a millwright until his retirement in the early 1980s.
Survivors include four sisters, Audrey Minor, Gladys M. Quigley, Diane Thompson and Bev Sullivan; and three brothers, Ken Minor, Jerry Thompson and Vince Anderson.
His parents died earlier.
Services will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter.
