BAXTER -- The Baxter City Council wants to have better communication with its city administrator.
In a closed meeting after the special council meeting Tuesday, the city council created a work plan for Baxter City Administrator Larry Kruse. The purpose, Baxter Mayor Gary Muehlhausen said, was to implement a system for better communication between the council and its top department head.
"So everybody's on the same page," Muehlhausen said today.
The work plan was devised during Kruse's employee evaluations. The plan would have to be approved at the regular council meeting June 5.
In other action, the council accepted a timeline for the 2002 budget review and appointed Rob Moser, Don O'Brien and Darrel Olson to be on the budget committee.
