SCARSDALE, N.Y. (AP) -- Unruly parents who clash with sports officials, yell directions to pee wee players and boo opposing teams will be muzzled under new rules adopted by village playing fields.
The voluntary code of conduct, passed by the Board of Trustees bans parents and children from throwing tantrums, taunts and other verbal attacks.
"People attacking people, that's the last thing we want to see," said Suzanne Busby, assistant superintendent of recreation in the wealthy New York suburb.
