A 27-year-old Brainerd man was killed in a two-vehicle, head-on collision Friday on Highway 371, just north of Morrison County Road 48, reported the State Patrol.
Jerry Lee Quenzer was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to the State Patrol, Quenzer was driving a Buick four-door southbound on Highway 371 when a Chevrolet truck, driven by Craig Readshaw, 52, Salem, Ohio, traveling in the northbound lane, crossed the center line and hit Quenzer's vehicle head-on.
Readshaw was taken to St. Gabriel's Hospital in Little Falls to be treated for broken legs, the State Patrol said. A passenger with Readshaw, Randy Stieh Jr., 21, Salem, Ohio, was taken to St. Cloud Hospital to be treated for a broken pelvis and femur.
The accident was reported at 6:48 a.m.
The Little Falls Police Department assisted at the scene to direct traffic. Traffic was detoured off of Highway 371 for about an hour and a half.
The Morrison County Sheriff's Department also assisted at the scene.
