Chip Schwartz of Cuyuna Country Club teamed with Robert Mattson of Olympic Hills Golf Club to win the senior division of the net best ball tournament May 21 at the 30th MGA senior four-ball event at Mille Lacs Golf Resort.
In the championship division, Clark Nichols of the Legacy Courses at Cragun's and Bob Patrick finished third with a 137. R.J. Smiley of Mille Lacs Golf Resort and Bud Tompkins were sixth.
Jack Seiberlich of Pierz finished fourth in the senior division with Paul Andreen.
In the masters division (age 65-older) Wayne Osell of Mille Lacs Golf Resort and David Hill were 10th.
Women's outing
Connie Erickson, Judy Gries, Sharon Seeker and Cincy Van Horn shot a 35 to win the paradise scramble during the women's outing May 20 on the Marsh Course at the Pines at Grand View Lodge.
Arla Johnson, Gloria Thomas, Susan Rogers and Barb Wenschlag were second with a 37. In third with a 38 were Laurel Mezner, Amy Lichty, Mary Lienke and Mary Boeder.
Ellie Balsimo had a chip in.

The next women's outing is 5:30 p.m. June 3 at the Garden Course. The first coed outing is 5:30 p.m. June 17 at the Pines.
Pine River Women's League
The Pine River Country Club Women's League plays Thursday at 9:30 a.m.
Starting June 5 the time changes to 9 a.m.
The Tuesday women's league has check-in at 3:45 with play beginning at 4 p.m.
Holes in one
Charlie Mahady, Nisswa, aced the 131-yard third hole at Pine Meadows May 23 using a 9-iron.
Marty Carlson, Brainerd, aced the 167-yard fifth hole on the Woods Course at the Pines at Grand View Lodge May 21 using a 6-iron.
John Lombard, Princeton, aced the 89-yard, second hole at Fritz's Resort April 27 using a 6-iron.
Dick Johnson, Nisswa, aced the 187-yard sixth hole at Fritz's Resort May 25 using a 5-iron.
