A 25.5-18.5 victory over Edward Jones on Thursday allowed Halverson Law Office to increase its men's league lead to 17 points over the rest of the field at the Legacy Courses at Cragun's.
Putting the heat on the leaders are Thelen Heating and Bremer Bank. Thelen fell to American National 24-20, while Bremer downed Deerwood Bank 25.5-18.5.

Becky Schornack worked her magic on the Legacy Par 3 Course to win the low score (31) and low putts (16) during women's league May 19.
Kelli Wikelius was closest to the pin and Mindy Elliot had the longest putt.
On the Dutch front nine of the championship league, Kathy Statz shot 43 for low score and Jane Winter had low putts with 15.
Lottie Oerhlein drained the longest putt and Sarah Nelson pounded the longest drive.

Pestello's knocked off Dick Parks Gas 8-4 to claim a two-point lead in the Twilight men's league standings Thursday at Breezy Point Resort.
Thomas & Associates Law made the big move to second place with an 11-1 victory over Dockside. Bodyworks had a bye, and is in third place.

JoEllen Einerwold, Dan Reeck, Renee Rivard and Don Sigety shot a 33 to win the side-step scramble May 19 during the Grand View Lodge Coed Outing at Deacon's Lodge.
Cindy and Reggie Clow and Angela and Paul Sandelin teamed to shoot 35 for second. In third was the team of Tom and Donna Motzko with Chris and Nate Lee.
The team of Barb Wenschlag, Steve Bruch, Sue and John Marsolai tied with Candace Prigge, Byrne Hildebrand, Melanie Gallagher and Robert Magnan.
Kari Dayton and Don Sigety had low putts. Bob Rogers and Pam Jager were closest to the pin. Robert Magnan and Don Sigety each had chip-ins.

Breezy Point women
Kathy Zender carded two bingos for the victory during the May 21 Breezy Point Resort women's league on the Traditional Course.
Darlene Palmer, Bunny Oseland, Ellen Koshenina, Sandy O'Day, Linda Betker, Doris Moede and Bonnie Person all had one bingo.
Next week's event will be blind holes and will be played at Whitebirch.
A meeting and breakfast will be at 8:30 a.m. before league play.
Rox Thompson was closest to the pin and Wendy Smith had the longest putt during the Madden's Pine Beach East women's league opening night May 19.
During the men's league opening night May 14, Vince Hren and Tom Younghans were closest to the pin and Scott Hoffmann hit the longest drive.
Men's league will be 5:30 p.m. Thursdays while the women's league will be 5:30 p.m. Tuesdays.

Meyer's 65 was low net of the day.

C-I Boosters tourney
The Crosby-Ironton Sports Boosters golf tournament is scheduled for 2 p.m. June 12 at Cuyuna Country Club.
The entry fee is $100 per player and includes 18 holes, cart and a steak dinner. Dinner-only tickets are available for $20.
