PIERZ - After picking up their first win of the season Saturday, the Pierz Brewers made it 2-for-2 on the weekend as they defeated the Cuyuna Ranger Miners 11-4 Sunday.
The recently signed Mike Pohlkamp struck out six, walked three and allowed eight hits and three runs in eight innings for the victory in his first start of the season.

Cory Egan drove in two runs on 3-5 hitting. Anthony Turk was 2-5 with an RBI. Eric Boser was 2-4 with a double and two RBIs and Alvin Kimman finished 2-5 with an RBI.
John Hoag was 2-4 for the Miners. Lance Herbst went 3-5 and Ben Baratto drove in two runs on two hits.

Fort Ripley 9, Harding 5
FORT RIPLEY - Andy Waletzko walked three, struck out four and allowed two runs on five hits in seven innings to lead the Fort Ripley Rebels past the Harding Dinosaurs 9-5 Sunday.
Austin Schmolke hit a two-run double in the seventh to expand the Rebel's lead to 7-1.
Harding responded with four runs in the eight with three coming on Dave Rocheleau's double.
Fort Ripley then scored two more runs on a wild pitch.
Rhett Williamson was 2-3 with two walks and a run for the Rebels. Jason Sather was 2-3 with two runs and Bill Sather was 3-3 with a double and a triple.

St. Mathias 14, Foley 3 (7 innings)
ST. MATHIAS - Zach Heidmann drove in twice as more runs as the Foley Outlaws could muster to lead the St. Mathias Devils to a 14-3 seven-inning victory Sunday.
Heidmann finished 3-5 with a three-run home run, double and six RBIs.
Jake Francis was 3-4 with two RBIs. Ryan Mareck had a hit and two runs and Adam Hardy walked four times and finished 1-1 with a double.
Jake Johnson struck out seven and scattered five hits and three runs over seven innings.

PIERZ - Eric Boser's three-run home run in the third propelled the Pierz Brewers to an 11-8 victory over the Buckman Billygoats Saturday. It's the Brewers' first win of the season.
Boser's blast tied the score at 3-3. Alvin Kimman followed with a solo shot to hand Pierz a 4-3 advantage.
Buckman rallied in the fourth to regain the lead at 6-4. Pierz overcame that deficit with five runs in the bottom of the fourth and never trailed again.
Boser finished 3-4 with three RBIs. Cory Egan was 3-5 with an RBI. Alvin Kimman was 2-4 with two RBIs. Greg Pohlkamp finished 2-4 with two RBIs and Mike Pohlkamp went 2-3.
Paul Preimesberger struck out five, walked four and allowed eight hits and seven runs over seven innings.
Greg Pohlkamp pitched the final two innings for the save.
Buckman's Joe Kahl finished 2-5 with a two triples and an RBI. Mark Kahl was 2-5 with an RBI. Travis Kahl was 2-4 and Warren Gall hit an RBI double.
