Verndale gains win

VERNDALE -- The Verndale Pirates finished the regular season on a high note with a 5-1 triumph over the Brandon-Evansville Chargers in non-conference baseball Friday.

Isaac Johnson went 2-4 with two runs scored for the Pirates and Nathan Runyan was 2-for-2 with one run scored.
