Angela Swanson and Troy Nelson were married March 15, 2003, at St. Francis Catholic Church in Brainerd with Father Seamus Walsh and Deacon Mike Schmitz officiating.
Parents are Tom and Helen Swanson, Brainerd, and Terry and Kris Nelson, Baxter.
The bride's attendants were J.J. Larson, Sarah Nelson, Maria Swanson, Sara Swanson and Hollie Oliver. Flower girl was Emily Peabody. Personal attendants were Beth Graham and Kandi Brick.
The groom's attendants were Mike Tuchscherer, Eric Nielsen, Clint Gray, Nate Hanson and Marty Gray. Ring bearer was Matthew O'Reilly. Ushers were Dan O'Reilly, Greg Austin and Shawn McArdle.
A reception was at the Brainerd National Guard Armory.
The bride graduated from Brainerd High School, Central Lakes College and University of Minnesota-Crookston. She is a substitute teacher for the Brainerd School District.
The groom graduated from Brainerd High School and Moorhead State University. He is a teacher at Brainerd High School.
The couple is at home in Brainerd.
