Lynda Kay Zech Stich

Lynda Kay Zech Stich, 64, Brainerd, died Thursday, May 22, 2003, at her home.

She was born Sept. 1, 1938, in Sioux Falls, S.D., to Lynn and Dorothy (Wedegartner) Zech. Following nurses' training, she was employed at Sartori Hospital in Cedar Falls, Iowa, for 15 years. She had been a Brainerd resident for the past 15 years where she had been employed at Herberger's, Carlson Jewelry and Just For Kix.

Survivors include a daughter, Reina Stich, Brainerd; a son, Ty Stich, St. Cloud; her mother, Dorothy Zech, Brainerd; two brothers, Gary Zech, Wallace, N.C., and Rodney Zech, Brainerd; a sister, Julie Giles, Brainerd; and one grandson.

Her father and a brother, Jim Zech, died earlier.

Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Nelson-Doran Funeral Home in Brainerd with the Rev. Andy Smith officiating.

Friends may call a half hour before services Tuesday at the funeral home.
