Arthur W. McWhite
MINNETONKA -- Arthur W. McWhite, 82, Minnetonka, formerly of Brainerd, died Wednesday, May 21, 2003, at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis.
He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of VFW Post No. 5632 and a 50-year member of the American Legion.
Survivors include three sons, Arthur W. McWhite, Colorado, and John and Thomas McWhite, both of New Hope; three daughters, Jean Stepp, Apple Valley, Mary Clark, Colorado, and Elizabeth McWhite, New Hope; a brother, Robert, Wayzata; and a sister, Marjorie Terry, California; 12 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Richard's Catholic Community, 7540 Penn Ave. S., Richfield. Burial will be at Fort Snelling.
Friends may call one hour before services Wednesday at the church.
Memorials are preferred to the American Lung Association.
Arrangements are with Morris Nilsen Chapel in Richfield.
