PARK RAPIDS -- Arzell L. Kuns, 91, Park Rapids, died Monday, May 21, 2001, at Heritage Living Center in Park Rapids.
She was born March 1, 1910, to J.W. and Alma Ethel (Bragg) Lynde. She married Kenneth James Kuns in Minneapolis. She worked for the Lynde Floral Shops and Dayton's Department Store, both of Minneapolis. In 1969, they moved to Walker and owned and operated the Trails Inn Resort on Leech Lake. She also worked for Northland Funeral Home for many years. She was a member of the Union Congregational Church in Hackensack. She was the church historian and had started the women's fellowship and the local prayer chain. She was a 55-year member of the Eastern Star and past matron. She was a past Girl Scouts leader. She was an active member of Job's Daughters.
Survivors include a daughter, A. Jean Jader, Walker; a son, Richard James, Hackensack; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; many great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Nellie Lynde, Pine River.
Her husband; a brother, J.W. Lynde Jr.; an infant brother; and a grandson died earlier.
Services will be 3 p.m. Saturday at Union Congregation Church in Hackensack with Pastor Michael Small officiating. Burial will be in Crystal Lake Cemetery in Minneapolis at a later date.
Arrangements are with Northland Funeral Home in Pine River.
