McGREGOR -- John E. Sheehan, 77, McGregor, died Tuesday, May 22, 2001, at home.
He was born Aug. 5, 1923, in Indianapolis to John and Freida (Gehbauer) Sheehan. He graduated from George Washington High School in Indianapolis. He was an Army veteran. He served in World War II. He married Dolores Merritt on Aug. 13, 1949, in Indianapolis. They owned the Shamrock Store from 1954 until 1971.
Survivors include his wife, five brothers and two sisters.
Two brothers died earlier.
There will be no services.
