Music General line dancers compete
The Music General performing line dancers recently completed their 2003 competition season.

More than 100 dancers from the Brainerd lakes area attended three regional competitions in the Minneapolis area. In March, they attended the Minnesota Dance Contest in Wayzata. April 5-6, they attended the American Dance Awards at the Minneapolis Convention Center. May 3-4, they attended the Encore Performing Arts Showcase in Bloomington. Instructors were Sue Kuhn, Mabel Tamasy and Lindsey Koop.
The group earned 16 first-place awards, 10 platinum medals and 10 gold medals.
Twinklers, ages 7-8 average group: Becky Anderson, Alice Bertram, Claire Erholtz, Emily Erickson, Kate Joos, Nikki Leland, Karyn Pfeifer, Corrina Schmidt, Morgan Rae Steffen, Giselle Tamasy, Claire Uhlman and Haley VanSteenwyk.
