CUSHING -- Donald Post, 69, Cushing, died Tuesday, May 20, 2003, at St. Cloud VA Hospital.
He was born Nov. 2, 1933, in Randall to Art and Myrtle (Stanema) Post. He attended District No. 64 country school. He served in the Army from 1957 to 1963. He served overseas in Germany and received honors as a sharpshooter. He married Irene Bollig on Sept. 30, 1966, in Little Falls. They lived in St. Cloud for 9 1/2 years. They moved to the home farm in Cushing. He worked for Jack Frost Hatchers, Rex Granite, Tri-City Paving, Reed's Excavating and Gene Mrozik. He shared a part-time woodcutting business with his twin brother, Ronald.
Survivors include his wife, Cushing; two brothers, Ronald, Cushing, and Arthur, Newark, Calif.; and one sister, Jeannette White, Little Falls.
His parents; two brothers, Mike and Robert; and one sister, Ann Brock, died earlier.
Services will be 11:30 a.m. Friday at Shelley Funeral Chapel in Little Falls with the Rev. Hal Spann officiating. Burial will be in Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today and an hour before services Friday at the funeral home.
