Raiders remain in ninth place

ORMOND BEACH, Fla. -- The Central Lakes College Raiders women's golf team remained in ninth place following the third round of the NJCAA national tournament at Halifax Plantation Golf Club.

CLC had 1,092 strokes, 122 behind first-place Daytona Beach Community College.

The Raiders' Samantha Welle moved up six places, from 44th to 38 with an 85 Wednesday and a three-round total of 265. Teammate Jenna Larson is just two shots behind Welle.

Daytona Beach received an eagle on No. 17 from Kayla Shaul to take a 10-stroke lead entering Thursday's final round.
