THEFT - Isaiah Schuety, 5600 block of Highway 25, Sunday reported a theft.

Bruce Oliphant on Saturday reported the theft of fishing items on the 16000 block of Highway 6.

ARREST - Arrested a 33-year-old jail inmate at 9:24 p.m. Sunday for fourth-degree assault after he assaulted a correctional officer at the Crow Wing County Jail. The inmate was in the jail after being arrested for fifth-degree assault about 6:30 p.m. Sunday after deputies responded to a report of a man and woman being assaulted at a residence on the 19000 block of Olander Road.

INVESTIGATION - Received a call from the Robbinsdale Police Department at 10:19 a.m. Sunday concerning a man whose house burned down in that city and authorities found a note in reference to the man drowning himself on Mille Lacs Lake. Aitkin and Mille Lacs sheriff's department also were advised. No drownings or attempted drownings were reported by any of the counties.

PROPERTY DAMAGE - Debra Walker, 8900 block of Sand Creek Road, Saturday reported her vehicle had been keyed.

Brainerd police

BURGLARY - Michelle Dyrendahl on Monday reported the home of Mary Dyrendahl, 800 block of Brook Street, had been broken into.

PROPERTY DAMAGE - Sophie Oliver on Saturday reported a window had been broken and a door forced open at her rental property on the 1000 block of Oak Street.

PUBLIC ASSIST - A woman called the police department at 5:28 p.m. Saturday to report she felt harassed by New York State Police when they called requesting she doesn't have any phone contact with another individual. An officer explained multiple options to the woman.

THEFT - Robert Gallagher, 600 block of James Street, Saturday reported his son's bike stolen. Gallagher followed the suspect and recovered the bike on the 600 block of Maple Street.

Andrew Stewart, 700 block of South Seventh Street, Friday reported items stolen from his vehicle.

Baxter police

PROPERTY DAMAGE - Received a report at 9:55 p.m. Friday of two men kicking in several boards on the volleyball court and stealing a handicapped sign at Black Bear Lodge and Saloon, 14819 Edgewood Drive.

THEFT - It was reported Friday that a bike was stolen from a residence on the 12000 block of Norway Spruce Drive.
