Florence M. Eide
Florence M. Eide, age 76, resident of Brainerd, died Sunday, May 18, 2008, at Woodland Good Samaritan Village.
Florence was born in Dickey, N.D., Dec. 4, 1931, to Rudolph and Ida (Hoffman) Haux. She had been employed for many years by Brainerd School District No. 181, retiring as head cook.
Survivors include her husband Charles "Carl"; two sons, Steve (Monica) Eide and Bruce (Shelley) Eide, all of Brainerd; six grandchildren, Jim (Marci) Eide, Aaron Eide, Amanda (Jason) Thiesse, Kathy Eide, Matthew Eide and Caitlin (Trevor) Nichols; five great-grandchildren; and one sister, Berniece (Carl) Hedquist.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Debbie Holsapple and brother Jim Haux.
Memorial services will be 10 a.m. Thursday, May 22, 2008, at Nelson-Doran Funeral Home in Brainerd with Pastor Mark Kleckner officiating. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
