DAYTONA BEACH, Fla.-- The second day of the NJCAA national women's golf tournament was about improvement for Central Lakes College.
The Raiders improved 28 strokes from their first day 422 to post a second round team score of 394 for 11th place in the four-day tournament Tuesday at the LPGA Internation Golf Club in Daytona Beach, Fla.
Sam Welle improved eight strokes from her first round 95 to shoot a second round 87. The biggest move came from Angie Johnson, who shot a 94, a 10-stroke improvement.
Paige Johnson followed up her first day 106 with a 101 and Amanda Kobberdahl improved five strokes from 117 to 112.
