Cuyuna Country Club is hosting five clinics by Golf Schools for Women on June 11 and 12.
Kathy Williams will give instruction on all aspects of the golf game during the two-hour sessions.
Williams, an LPGA teaching professional, is a former tour player and coach at the University of Minnesota. She currently instructs in Chicago.

Junior program at Legacy
PGA professionals at the Legacy Courses at Cragun's are hosting two sessions of a Wednesday morning junior golf program.
Session one is June 2, 9, 16 and 23 with times ranging from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Groups will be broken down into age groups. Session two is July 7, 14, 21 and 28.
Cost for each session is $75 or $125 for both. Each session will instruct course etiquette and rules.

Habitat tournament scheduled
The sixth annual Habitat for Humanity, nine-hole, four-person scramble is scheduled for 3 p.m. June 6 at the Whitefish Golf Course.
Entry fee is $45 per person which includes cart and picnic.

Boy Scout Classic
The Boy Scout Golf Classic is scheduled for 11 a.m. May 25 at the Legacy Courses at Cragun's.
The 4-person scramble benefits at-risk youth through the Scoutreach program.

Candice Prigge and Kathy Edmunds tied with 13 putts each for first in the low putts competition during the Women's Outing at Grand View Lodge's Garden Course may 11.
Second place went to Mary Boeder with 15 putts.
Longest putt winners were Ann Bergin, Edmunds and Prigge.
The Lakes Course at the Pines at Grand View Lodge had a four-way tie for first between Dawn Wiebusch, Carol Nelson, Kate Fossey and Ellen Ogg. Second-place with 15 putts each were Sharon Seeker and Linda Groen.
Longest putt winners were Lorie Johnson, Sue Agre and Renee Johnson.

The 28th MGA/PGA Cup Matches will be held Monday, May 24 at Decotah Ridge Golf Club in Morton.
Among the PGA players will be Bill Israelson of the Vintage Golf Course in Staples.
The tournament features 24 amateurs and 24 professionals that face each other for 18-holes of concurrent single and four-ball matches.
For the first time since 1995, the MGA amateurs defeated the Minnesota Section of the PGA professionals last year. The PGA holds a commanding lead in the overall competition at 21-5-1.
Hole in one
Steve Gagne, Sauk Rapids, aced the 67-yard sixth hole at Madden's Pine Beach West Course May 16 using an 8-iron.
