HILL CITY - Ellen Raushel was 3-for-4 with two RBIs, Kelsey Klucas was 4-6 with an RBI and Lauren Eno was 3-6 with three RBIs for the Aitkin Gobblers as they doubled up the Hill City Hornets 14-7 in non-conference softball Thursday.

Kristi Cummings added two hits and an RBI and Briana Croat drove in two runs for the Gobblers.

MILACA - Stacey Lenz singled twice and Danielle Nelson scored the lone run as the sixth-seeded Pierz Pioneers fell to No. 3 Milaca 7-1 in the Subsection 18, Section 6-2A softball quarterfinals Thursday.

PELICAN RAPIDS - Amber Hayes was 3-for-4 with two runs scored for the Wadena-Deer Creek Wolverines as they were defeated by the Pelican Rapids Vikings 12-8 in non-conference softball Thursday.

MENAHGA - Katie Turpin hit a three-run home run and Kaylie Hanson was 2-for-4 with a triple and three RBIs for the Pillager Huskies in a 10-7 loss to the Menahga Braves in Park Region Conference softball Thursday.

Tiffany Dixon added two hits for the Huskies.
