Spring term robots built by students in engineering physics at Central Lakes College competed in tests of their maneuverability, speed and endurance.
The showdown occurred May 5 in the halls and outside a main entrance on the Brainerd campus, where the remote-controlled machines built by teams performed under the watchful eyes of instructor George Bedard and curious onlookers.
Students solicited $1,200 from engineering firms to fund their projects, Bedard said.
