UAW locals' leaders reportedly under fire

DETROIT (AP) -- The FBI and the Labor Department are said to be looking into allegations by members of the United Auto Workers that some of their union leaders may have been bought off by the auto industry.

The complaints involve six UAW locals in Michigan, Alabama, Indiana and Ohio, the Detroit Free Press reported Thursday. Members of those locals -- and four others -- requested investigations over the past year.
