This is a comment that probably should've been sent to a person writing on nature but even people who don't like anything outdoors read Vox Pop. I did this and got a robin out of my garage. A lot of birds only know to go up and get stuck in the rafters. I felt sorry for a trapped robin and poured a water puddle on the floor at the open door and left. The bird saw the water, went for that and got out. Put an artificial flower on a chair in the garage door to get a hummingbird out.
