Riley's hitting leads Bulldogs to win

LASTRUP -- Jeff Riley went 5-for-6 with three runs while Zach Watercott added three hits and two runs and Shawn Fischer had three hits and three runs as the Pierz Bulldogs upended the Lastrup Lakers Sunday in Victory League baseball.

Dan Saehr led the way for the Lakers, batting 2-4.

HARDING -- Harding's Dan Rocheleau pitched five innings, giving up two runs on five hits with seven strikeouts while Dave Rocheleau had two doubles and three runs and Eric Hanneken went 3-for-5 with three RBI as the Dinosaurs defeated the Cuyuna Range Miners Sunday.

Cuyuna's Russ Wicklund led the Range Miners with three hits.

AITKIN -- The Avon Lakers used a nine-run third inning to top the Aitkin Barnstormers 14-1 Sunday.

Jim Leviska was 2-for-2 and scored the lone Aitkin run in the loss.
