Wildwedge Golf and Mini Golf in Pequot Lakes will have a summer golf program for players 6 and older starting June 5.

The lessons will be eight weeks for $75 and will be held at 9 a.m. for younger players and 10 a.m. for the older group.

A junior league will be held 11 a.m. every Tuesday

In addition, there will be an advanced junior class 5 p.m. Thursday.

Wildwedge women

Wildwedge Golf in Pequot Lakes will offer a summer women's program with golf lessons 6 p.m. Thursdays starting June 7. The program will last eight weeks and will be taught by Liz Larson.

Free lesson month

Area PGA professionals are offering free lessons throughout the month of May in conjunction with "PGA Free Lesson Month," the national growth-of-the-game campaign.

Don Monda, Brainerd, aced the 147-yard, fifth hole at Breezy Point Resort's Whitebirch Golf Course using a 7-iron.

Judy Reinholdt, Hampton, aced the 90-yard Gamblers Hole on Bobby's Legacy at Cragun's May 10 using an 8-iron.
