It's people like you
In response to the disgruntled citizen on the juvenile center, your lack of confidence in the local correctional facilities is overwhelming. You have conveyed no support for the local juvenile center to reshape those kids who may have taken a few steps down the wrong path. At least give some credit to the center. Also, your disbelief in the ability those kids have to change is abysmal. It is because of people like you who presuppose "all the juveniles in the Brainerd area can go out and commit crimes," that so much prejudice exists in the world.
Better fishing for all
To Mr. Boggs and all other fishermen, when the crappies are in their spawning shallows, please leave them be. It will mean better fishing for "all" crappie fisherman in future years.
Please pool your resources
I think it is wonderful that myself, along with the rest of the generous Brainerd taxpayers, are providing our mayor with a paid, once-in-a -lifetime vacation to Leksand, Sweden. I have always dreamed of a vacation to the Black Hills in South Dakota. I am asking these same generous people to please pool their resources for me so I can buy gasoline for that trip.
Say goodbye to Kafka
Congratulations, Mr. Kafka! You finally succeeded in closing the facility you had absolutely no business trying to save. You put people out of work and made it inconvenient for all parties involved. To the members of the board: Why is Kafka still employed? Really, how bad does he have to be? Hasn't he failed enough? Fair is fair. He put 15 people out of work, not to mention the ones he drove away. He needs to be out of work, too. Say goodbye to Kafka.
