Victim fell out of pickup

LITTLE FALLS - An 18-year-old woman who was killed Saturday after being struck by a pickup appeared to have fallen out of the box of the pickup and was then struck, the Morrison County Sheriff's Department reported.

The victim, Kasey L. Stavish, was struck about 12:39 a.m. Saturday on 150th Avenue south of Iris Road in Little Falls Township, the sheriff's department reported. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

The sheriff's department reported Monday the investigation wasn't complete into the events that led to Stavish falling out of the pickup's box.

The driver of the pickup, Heather Kohl, 17, Little Falls, was not injured and no criminal charges are anticipated at this time, the sheriff's department reported.
