Aitkin routs Onamia in baseball

AITKIN --Dusty Finlayson was 4-for-4, knocked out three doubles and drove in five RBI as the Aitkin Gobblers crushed the Onamia Panthers 18-6 in Great River Conference baseball Monday.

The Gobblers scored 12 of their 18 runs in the first inning with Kyle Bender going 3-3 with an RBI.

PEQUOT LAKES -- Chase Nelson went 3-for-4 with a RBI for the Pequot Lakes Patriots as they coasted by the Pine River-Backus Tigers 11-1 in Park Region Conference baseball Monday.

Jeremiah Harvey went 2-4 with three RBI as the Patriots scored four in the bottom of the 6th inning to end the game on the 10 run rule.

Mike Langer had eight strikeouts in six innings for the Patriots.
